Insight #1
“This is what Love looks like in this moment.”
What if you knew with absolute certainty that every circumstance, every situation, and everything that happened to you, was an occurrence that served you in Joy, Innocence and Love?
This Insight is about finding a new way to explore meaning in the events of your Life. Taken together with the other Insights, you will begin to see that this Insight is true without a shadow of a doubt.
Entertain the possibility, right now, that no matter what you are experiencing in your life, there is a way to interpret it that concludes, “…and this is what Love looks like in this moment”.
If you are diligent about exploring this insight, you will find the truth of it in every moment.
When you remember to say: “This is what Love looks like in this moment”, you will have to slow down and pay attention to how you feel. There, you will find steadfastness and trust in the expanded Nature of who you are.
Especially notice how you feel when you say these words with something you believe you had no part in creating; Life experiences such as:
- Someone close to you becomes ill or passes away….
- Financial ruin rains down on your bank accounts…
- A good friend says hurtful things….
- A betrayal of any kind stops you in your tracks…
“This is what Love looks like in this moment.”
How this Insight is used in DSM: Living Beyond the Forbidden and Taboo
This Insight has never failed to remind us, or our clients, of the spiritual essence of who we are. When circumstances seem out of control and beyond our capacity to understand “why?” things are the way they are, this Insight restores a sense of personal power and participation in our Life events.
It takes us above the suffering we succumb to in difficult times, and offers a fresh perspective that is undeniably true.
DSM is about reclaiming personal power. This Insight helps you:
- Remember that Love is elusive at times but always shows up. No exceptions.
- Allow your body to relax with the knowledge that no matter how hard a circumstance might seem, Love is always present and the ultimate intended outcome.
- Respond with a knowledge that Love showing up can look many different ways, and that if you stay open you will see another side of its expression.
This Insight will change you, and that is why it is a cornerstone of the DSM model. In the work we do together we will explore the nuances of this game-changer through the safety and courage of self-exploration, coaching and self-knowledge.
